Türkiye's Northernmost Tale: Sinop
When you enter this peninsula, with the northern winds at your back, you will be immediately captivated by SİNOP, with its fierce yet proud stance stretching out into the Black Sea as if longing to reach the opposite shore. - Museum Card is valid at all museums affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
- You can apply for a Museum Card via e-Devlet and https://muze.gov.tr/
- Museums of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism are free for retired guests and guests who present a teacher ID.
- Guests with a disability card, as well as those under 18 and over 65, may enter the museums free of charge.
- Museum visits may not take place if the museums are closed due to renovation, maintenance, etc.
- All our guests are insured under the mandatory TÜRSAB Travel Insurance No. 1618.
- Depending on the number of participants, a 19+1 minibus / 31+1 midibus / 46+1 large bus will be used.

We meet in Giresun at 05:00 at Alman Çeşmesi, Atapark, and Boztekke Stop.
In Ordu, we meet at 06:00 at Rus Pazarı, Eski Otogar, and Teleferik Stop.
After the breakfast on the way (extra), we arrive at SINOP, the city of Diogenes, via the charming Black Sea districts of Bafra and Gerze, the northernmost point of Anatolia. In Sinop, we set our sightseeing route as ERFELEK WATERFALLS. After free time in the Erfelek Waterfalls Nature Park, which is a natural wonder containing 28 large and small waterfalls, we taste Erfelek chestnut candy and chocolate and, after a short shopping break, visit HAMSİLOS BAY, Turkey’s only fjord-type coast, formed by the collapse of Deveci Stream, and take a photo break there before seeing Akliman beach and returning to Sinop city center. We visit the HISTORICAL SİNOP PRISON, known as the “Turkish Alcatraz,” where many famous people were once imprisoned and some sections are open to visitors. Leaving the prison that inspired Sabahattin Ali’s lines, “Do not lower your head, don’t be disheartened, heart,” we take a photo in front of the DIOGENES STATUE and then have our lunch in the form of the famous walnut Sinop manti. After the meal, we see the handmade kotras unique to Sinop and Sinop Castle, and then join the (extra) BOAT TOUR. After viewing Sinop from another perspective, we enjoy free time at the SINOP CASTLE TOWER and the stalls in the city center where local handmade products are sold. At the specified time, we take our seats on the bus and begin our return journey. We drop our valued guests off at the points where we picked them up and bid farewell, hoping to see you on another PIKOLA TUR trip.
