- Our GAP tour lasts for 5 days, including 2 nights of travel by bus and 3 nights of hotel accommodation.
- The hotels we will stay at during our GAP tour are PARK DEDEMAN MİDYAT and MARDİN, NEVALI HOTEL URFA.
- Our tour includes 3 nights of hotel accommodation, 3 breakfasts at the hotel, 2 dinners, transportation, guiding services, and TÜRSAB insurance.
- The seating plan is arranged by us, and seat numbers are not guaranteed.
- A 20% deposit of the tour price is collected at the time of reservation for confirmation.
- The remaining payments can be made by EFT, Mail Order, credit card, or cash up to 7 days before the tour starts.
- Our guide may change the itinerary during the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, road conditions, etc.).
- Triple rooms (for 3 people) consist of a double bed + an extra bed.
- The 3rd bed is a rollaway or sofa bed, smaller than standard beds.
- Triple rooms are subject to availability.
- Hotels generally have a check-in time of 14:00 (in some countries, it is 15:00) and a check-out time of 10:00.
- Group reservations are made at the hotels for our programs.
- Pikola may change the order of the program without disrupting the content if deemed necessary.
- Please do not forget to bring clothing suitable for autumn conditions.
- Tour cancellations are reported to our guests 7 days in advance.
- MUSEUM CARDS are valid at the entrances of TC. Ministry of Culture and Tourism-affiliated museums in Diyarbakır, Urfa, Mardin, and Adıyaman.
- Private museums such as Kasimiye Medrese and Mor Gabriel do not accept the Museum Card.
- You can apply for a Museum Card at https://muze.gov.tr/ and via E-GOVERNMENT.
- Teachers who present their IDs can enter the MINISTRY OF TOURISM Museums for free.
- Guests holding Disability Cards, and those under 18 or over 65 years old can enter museums for free.
- Mandatory insurance covering services is provided in accordance with TÜRSAB Professional Insurance.
- The hotel we will stay at in Urfa provides BED AND BREAKFAST service.
- A SIRA GECESİ (Traditional Urfa evening) is an extra.
- The Sira Gecesi will include TRADITIONAL URFA DINNER, LIVE MUSIC, and a FOLK DANCE TEAM.
- If the given times are not followed, the agency is not responsible for any missed sites.
- The vehicle for the GAP tour is a LARGE BUS with a capacity of 46 or 51 people.

Dear guests;
From Ordu at 17:30, we will meet at the Old Bus Station, Russian Market, and University Junction
From Giresun at 18:30, we will gather at Güre, the Governorship, Atapark, Gemiler Çekeği, and the German Fountain to start our tour.
We are reaching Diyarbakır, the Stop of Civilizations. After having our breakfast (extra), we start our tour of Diyarbakır. We will view the Diyarbakır Walls, which have an unknown construction date and are believed to have a history of 9000 years, and the Urfa Gate, while listening to our guide's explanations from our vehicle. We will visit Diyarbakır Ulu Mosque, which is one of the oldest mosques in Anatolia and one of the five holy mosques that was converted into a mosque in 639. After completing our tour in the streets of Diyarbakır, we will take a coffee break at Hasan Paşa Han. After visiting the Four-Legged Minaret and Surp Giragos Armenian Church, we will meet our vehicle at Mardin Gate, one of the four main gates of the Diyarbakır walls, and see the Hevsel Gardens by the Tigris River, which is believed to lead to Heaven, the Keçi Bastion, and the On Gözlü Bridge. After completing our city tour, we will go to Batman. After our free time in Batman, we proceed to Midyat. In Midyat, we will first visit Mor Gabriel Monastery, which is known as the second Jerusalem of the Syriacs and is the oldest Syriac Orthodox monastery that still exists. The monastery, believed to be built on an ancient Zoroastrian temple, was constructed in 397 by Mor Shmuel and Mor Şeman. We will explore the monastery with our guide. After the visit, we will see the Kaymakamlık Guest House, one of the most beautiful examples of regional architecture, and the historic Syriac houses, and then we will take a shopping break at a famous silver and filigree workshop and a perfume shop. At the end of the break, we will check into our hotel in Midyat. Accommodation and dinner in MİDYAT.
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart from Midyat and take the Silk Road, making our first stop at Beyazsu, one of the region's most important picnic areas, for a coffee break. After resting our feet in the cool waters in the hot southern climate, we head to the ancient city of Dara, one of the most important military bases of the Roman Empire in the region, which utilizes a system of cisterns. Accompanied by our guide, we explore the cave houses, cisterns, and necropolis area, before turning our route towards Mardin, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Mardin, famous for its architectural structures created by Assyrian, Chaldean, Yezidi, Arab, Kurdish, and Turkish cultures over 4000 years, as well as its narrow streets and abbaras, we first visit the Kasimiye Medrese, one of the main masterpieces of Artuqid architecture. After touring the classrooms, eywan, mosque, and the life pool sections of the medrese, and completing our photo sessions, we take you to Old Mardin at the foot of Mardin Castle. While wandering the streets of this medieval castle town, we will taste the Suriani pastry, see the Grand Mosque, the PTT building, and the abbaras, and then enjoy our coffee against the backdrop of the Mesopotamian plain. After the break, we take a short shopping stop at our shop where we can find local products from the Mardin region, and then we head to our hotel for check-in. Dinner and accommodation in MARDIN.
After breakfast, we depart from Mardin and head towards Göbeklitepe, which houses the world's first temple. Göbeklitepe was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019 and has recently been attracting a large number of visitors. After completing our tour with our guide at Göbeklitepe, we set off towards Şanlıurfa. Our first stop in Urfa is Harran, home to the world's first university. Known for its cone-shaped domed houses, which are protected and only found in three regions worldwide, we visit the remnants of the Ulu Mosque, mound, city walls, castle, and traditional Harran houses, one of which we enter as guests. Leaving Harran, we visit the shrine of Hz. Ibrahim, mentioned in three monotheistic religions and holy scriptures, as well as Halil Rahman and Ayn Zeliha Lake, and Rızvaniye Mosque, before finishing our visit at Balıklıgöl. After shopping for local products in Urfa, we check into our hotel. For those who wish to join, we head to our local restaurant for (optional) dinner and a Sıra Gecesi. Overnight stay in Şanlıurfa.
After breakfast, we set off towards Halfeti, which is submerged under the waters of the Birecik Dam. We participate in a 1.5-hour boat tour on the Euphrates River with our awaiting boats. During the trip, we see the Rum Castle and the Fighting Village, taking plenty of photos. After completing our visit to Halfeti, we head to Adıyaman towards Mount Nemrut, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List, following the Atatürk Dam. We board the minibuses waiting for us in Kahta and reach the summit of Mount Nemrut, which is 2150 meters above sea level (extra cost). We see the tumulus built in honor of King Antiochos of Commagene and the East-West terraces, along with the massive statues located there, witnessing the stunning sunset over Mount Nemrut. After the presentations made here and the photos taken, we meet with our vehicles and begin our journey back. Between 05:00 and 06:30 in the morning, we drop you off at the points we picked you up from, bidding farewell with the hope of meeting again on another trip.

I participated in the GAP tour from October 28 to November 1. We had a very enjoyable tour with our dear guide, Mr. Fatih. His courtesy, patience, understanding, and knowledge were truly admirable. Our captains were also quite experienced, understanding, patient, and helpful. The hotels we stayed in were clean, comfortable, and extremely pleasant.
